About Me
I am an eco conscious guy living in Sydney Australia. I have always been aware of the dangers facing our environment but have only recently (within the last few years) become passionate about it. I decided a while ago that I would start working on making my impact on the earth as small as possible or ’sustaining myself’.
Basically, I am a city guy. I live in a big city and I am working on changing aspects of my life but without interuption to the things I love. I dont want to ‘rough it’. I want to be comfortable, but without using excess resources.
I am also a bit of an Animal & Human rights activist. I am a member or a regular visitor of Greenpeace, Amnesty International, Sea Shepherd, GetUp and I subscribe to the New Internationalist. I am a fairly active guy.
I also own christianbiggins.com which is more of my professional site with technical ramblings and information about what I do.
About the site
The site is a simple Wordpress based blog with the beautiful aeros theme installed. Eventually, I would like this site to expand and take on more authors and become a community that is not just about me and my sustainability struggle. I was going to use Elgg as the base of the site, but I simply did not have enough content or demand to justify such a big platform.
